I.M. Healthy recently recalled their SoyNut Butters for possible E. coli.

Now, the FDA has ordered a complete shutdown of the product’s northern Kentucky factory.

The factory has been blamed for a nationwide E. coli outbreak.

The FDA believes the SoyNut Butter, manufactured by Dixie Dew products, led to 29 people across the country getting sick and dozens being hospitalized.

One young Florida girl went into Kidney failure and eventually a coma.

The FDA said inspections at the facility listed numerous safety issues, including dirty cleaning supplies, black filth, and rodent droppings.

All production and distribution of the soy butters have suspended until further notice.
