Here's your Tampa area forecast for late Thursday into Friday morning and the weekend.

The cold front came roaring through on cue, taking the rain out of the area quickly this morning.

The cooler air will continue funneling into the area overnight into Friday with skies going from clear to partly cloudy.

Morning lows will be much cooler, mainly in the 50s, but some upper 40s in Citrus to Hernando county.

Friday will be a gorgeous day, with skies going between partly cloudy and mostly sunny. But it will be much cooler than we have been in a while and well below normal average temperatures for this time of year.

Expect a strong northwest wind with highs only in the low 70s, which means that most of the day temperatures will be in the 60s.  That’s rare for this time of year considering the high sun angle.

Friday night will be clear and chilly with lows in the 40s to low 50s.

This weekend will be gorgeous, but with cool nights. Saturday will feature a breeze from the north with highs only in the low 70s again.
