The field for Florida governor grew by one Monday, as Republican Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam filed to run.

Candidates are vying to fill the seat that will be vacated by Gov. Rick Scott because of term limits.
Putnam served five terms in Congress and was first elected to the Legislature when he was 22.
He is the first major Republican to file.
Putnam became agriculture commissioner in 2010.
The 42-year-old is from Bartow in Polk County and comes from a family of ranchers and citrus growers.
Democrats running include Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and Orlando businessman Chris King.
Gillum made his announcement March 1. King made his announcement two days later.
