This month the American Automobile Association (AAA) has added bicycles as a class of vehicle serviced by their Roadside Service Trucks.

"So, if you bust your chain or if your tire went flat, we would transport you either to your home location if that's where you wanted to go, or to a bicycle repair shop," Montrae Waiters, Senior Public Relations Coordinator for AAA, said.

Service trucks have been modified to include bike racks.  Cyclists who break down on a trail or path, should relocate their bike to any roadway.  Trucks may not drive on bike or run paths.

The Service extends from the member to their immediate family who may be cycling together.

AAA reminds cyclists to ride with traffic for increased safety.
