The gold Ford Expedition with license plate number GYC-T99 was reported stolen on Tuesday by its owner, Samantha Henry of New Port Richey.

The FHP also said authorities are looking at two potential persons of interest in this case.

Surveillance video of Johnny Walsh Jr., 14, being struck by the SUV was posted on social media earlier this week. The FHP has been investigating since the video was posted.

In the video, the out-of-control SUV is seen swerving down Moog Road in Holiday.

The SUV went into the front yard of a residence, back out onto the street and knocked Walsh off his bike. Despite the shocking impact seen in the video, Walsh was not seriously injured.

A witness to the impact, Jordan Barnes, was the first to call 911. Barnes can be heard saying "You just hit a f****** kid, hit a kid!" during the call.

Barnes chased the SUV and got the car's license plate number.

"I'm going northbound ... I just passed 54, I'm behind them, I'm in hot pursuit right now," Barnes told the operator.

"No, don't do that," the operator responded.

Johnny Walsh Sr., Walsh Jr.'s father, told us he finds the timing of the theft report suspicious.

"If your car was stolen, you would report it the same day, don't you think?" said Walsh Sr.

Walsh Sr. went on to say he just wants someone to come forward regarding the incident.

“I’m just asking you to come forward," said Walsh Sr. "Because if it was their child what would they think?”

Johnny Jr. was able to attend school Wednesday, though his father said he is walking with a limp and can barely lift his arm.
