Troopers said at around 5:18 a.m. Thursday, Daniel Edmondson, 20, was traveling east on West Main Street approaching the intersection with Seminole Avenue. Edmondson, driving a 1999 Jeep Laredo, reportedly entered the intersection, then drove into the westbound lanes.

Edmondson then collided with Steven Wesley Ekeli, 48, who was traveling west on West Main Street. Ekeli died at the scene from his injuries following the crash.
