Fishing along Indian Rocks Beach turned exciting for a Michigan man recently when he hooked a seven-foot lemon shark.
"As soon as I saw the fins coming through the water, I couldn't believe it," Chris Avouris said.
"It was like five fins sticking up and I was like, 'Oh my God, it's a shark. It's huge.' And I had a crowd, hundreds of people crowded around me.
"I just dragged that thing on shore, grabbed it by the tail, pulled it up on shore. It was pretty cool," he said.
After snapping a few photos, Avouris put the shark back in the water, made sure it was OK and watched it swim away.
