Citrus County Housing Services is offering a free first time homebuyer's class.
Participants in the program will receive a certificate of completion which is valid for two years and is required for first time homebuyer assistance programs.
These classes are HUD approved and encompass the entire home buying process, including preparing your credit and finances, shopping for a home, home inspection, fair housing, available loan products, loan pre-approval, and closing.
There is no charge to attend these classes, but you must reserve a seat.
The classes will be held at UF/IFAS Extension Citrus County office located at 3650 W Sovereign Path Lecanto, FL at the following dates and times:
June 8, 2017 – 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
June 15, 2017 – 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
June 22, 2017 – 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
June 29, 2017 – 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All four classes must be completed to receive a Certificate of Completion.
