A pilot was rescued after his ultralight plane crashed into Lake Thomas in Land O’ Lakes Saturday afternoon, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.

When firefighters arrived, the plane was almost fully submerged in the lake.
The pilot, who has not been identified, was pulled from the wreckage by private boaters.
He was not injured.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
