Today marks the end of an era for the circus, as Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey will perform one final time.
Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus first wowed audiences in the 19th century.
The Manatee County-based company that runs it said lower audience numbers, high operation costs, and prolonged battles with animal rights groups is forcing them to shut down.
Their last show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday in New York.
The circus will be live streaming their final show so you can watch it from the comfort of your home.
