Here is your Tampa area weather forecast for late Monday on through Tuesday and the middle of the week.

  • Breezy onshore wind
  • Mid week cold front
  • Very high rain chance

We’ve had scattered storms in the area the past four days due to higher moisture content in the atmosphere.  There will be a few storms in the area for Tuesday, but our eyes are focused on an even better rain chance for Wednesday.

Skies will go between partly cloudy and mostly clear for your early morning, with just an isolated chance of a passing shower.  Lows will be in the low to mid 70s.

Tuesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with a breezy wind from the southwest.  There will be a 20 percent chance of an afternoon to evening showers or storm.

A cold front will move toward us Wednesday, pushing a huge amount of moisture in from the Gulf.  This is fantastic news as we will likely end up with very beneficial rains, helping us come out of the drought.

High temperatures will mostly be in the 80s the next few days, much lower than last week when we had record highs.
