Skies will be partly cloudy overnight into early Thursday morning with some scattered showers still passing through the area as the front moves toward us.

The front will move through very early Thursday morning with clearing skies at that time and much drier air moving in.

Morning lows will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

It will be a lot less humid with a rare frontal passage for this time of year. Enjoy it while you can because the humidity will definitely come back by next week.

Skies will go mostly sunny by the afternoon with a breeze from the west. High temperatures will be cooler, mainly in the low to mid 80s.

Thursday night will be mostly clear and pleasantly cooler with lows in the upper 50s to upper 60s.

Friday will wrap up the week on a very nice note with sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s.

Friday night will be pleasantly cool for this time of year with lows in the 50s to upper 60s under clear skies.

The weekend will be seasonable and nice for this time of year with dry conditions, lots of sunshine and highs near 90.

Here are updates from previously Wednesday.

5 p.m.: A home was damaged in Auburndale by high winds. The home on Highway 559 lost its roof.

4 p.m.: Storms are moving to the east and the severe weather threat is diminishing.

3:36 p.m.: There are reports of trees down in Palm Harbor and Port Richey.

3:18 p.m.: A line of strong thunderstorms will affect southeastern Sumter, Polk and eastern Hillsborough counties.

3:12 p.m.: Severe thunderstorm warnings for Hillsborough/Manatee have been cancelled.

3:01 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Polk County.

2:55 p.m.: Tornado watches that had been issued for Citrus, Hernando and Pasco counties have been allowed to expire.

2:50 p.m.: Hernando County Sheriff's deputies have closed Osowaw Boulevard between Shoal Line Boulevard and the Pasco County Line as parts of the roadway are currently under water.

2:43 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning for southern Hillsborough and Manatee Counties until 3:30 p.m.

1:40 p.m.: Due to high winds, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is closed. Please use an alternate route.
