  • Man left note for teen on receipt with phone number
  • Police sergeant called number, posed as teen

Mark Anthony Biermann, 58, faces two felony charges of traveling to meet after luring a child and using an electronic device to lure a child.

According to police, Biermann ordered food at the restaurant located on Cypress Gardens Boulevard about 12:30 p.m. Saturday. After paying for the food, Biermann used the receipt to leave a note for a male worker.

He told the 16-year-old to “read it later,” according to police. The note said, “call me if you are interested in a blow job” and also included a phone number.

The teen read the note and immediately informed the manager and called his parents who reported it to the police.

A police sergeant called the number on the receipt posing as the teen. He told Beirmann he was 15 years old, which didn’t dissuade Beirmann. During the phone call, Beirmann discussed performing oral sex on the teen.

The sergeant called Biermann a second time, once again posing as a teen. Beirmann proposed performing oral sex on the teen and agreed to meet up.

Beirmann sent a text to the “teen” letting him know he would be arriving at the agreed location shortly. He was arrested when he arrived.

During an interview, Beirman said he thought the teen was 19 year old, but acknowledged that he later learned the teen was underage.

Beirmann was booked into the Polk County Jail.
