The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on I-75 in Hillsborough where they said a drunk driver was going the wrong-way.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-75, south of Gibsonton Drive, Saturday around 4 a.m.
Troopes said Rogelio Ramirez, 29, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-75 and collided with the rear passenger side of a tractor trailer.
Ramirez was heavily impaired, troopers said, and taken to Tampa General Hospital in serious condition.
According to the report, charges pending.
