Cindy continues to spread heavy rain into the Central Gulf Coast region. The track of the center continues to shift west toward the Texas Coast.
However, the exact center of the tropical storm is not as important because Cindy is poorly organized and the real threat is the heavy rain along the coast east of the center.
Because Cindy is moving slowly, there will likely be flooding due to heavy rainfall across southern Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
