Robertson said she weighed 313 pounds and just had her first son when she decided enough was enough.

“That was the highest I had ever been. That was a life changer for me. Seeing that three at the beginning of my weight,” Robertson said.

She keeps the size 24 jeans she wore back then as a reminder. She can still fit both of her legs into one side of the jeans.

Having tried fad diets in the past, she decided this time around she’d change some of her habits.

“I was very sedentary. I didn’t move a whole lot. And I was eating to deal with emotions,” Robertson said.

“And I didn’t have, generally speaking, good eating habits. I didn’t know portion control. And I was a binge eater,” Robertson explained.

She said it was easier to start walking first. Then she started to address her eating habits, adding vegetables to her meals, and making gradual changes that would last a lifetime, all while having and raising three boys.

Nowadays, she likes to join jump rope and push up competitions. She added that weightlifting has also been helpful in redefining her body.

After she lost 170 pounds, she decided it was time to help others. She began by starting the podcast, “Half Size Me.” As the followers added up, she left her day job and decided to turn Half Size Me into a company.

“We have a community, I do coaching, and we’ve released books that we sell. It’s just ballooned into a full time family business. My husband left his job at Publix to come work with me. We homeschool our children,” Robertson said.

“Half Size Me,” was recently featured on the FOX News and The New York Post websites.

“I get emails from Australia, the UK, Ireland…all kinds of wonderful people that are just reaching out and saying this show is making such a difference in my life,” she  said.
