Charles Morris, 63, was found in the canal behind the Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park located at 605 Michigan Boulevard.

At about 3:48 p.m., deputies were called to the location, where Morris's decomposed remains were floating in the shallow canal just east of Bayshore Boulevard.

Detectives said Morris suffered from memory loss, and was first reported missing on June 21, after he left his Dunedin home the previous day and never came back. His death, according to investigators, does not appear suspicious in nature.
