A 33-year-old man was killed in a Monday morning crash in Citrus County.

It happened just before 8 a.m. at County Road 486 and West Pine Ridge Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol on Tuesday identified the victim as Michael Alan Camp, 33, of Beverly Hills.

Troopers said Camp was traveling westbound on County Road 486 when he lost control, then hit a curb, a roadway sign and another vehicle.

Camp died at the scene, according to the FHP.

Two people inside the second vehicle were not injured.
