Our weather pattern changes back to a normal summer pattern beginning Wednesday. This will mean the mornings will be quiet with afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
This pattern will stick around through the weekend.
NATIONAL
Heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms are expected across the Northern and Central Plains, pushing eastward into the Upper Midwest by Wednesday. These storms will be capable of large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes.
TROPICAL UPDATE
A tropical wave over western Africa is forecast to emerge into the far eastern Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday or Thursday. Some development of this system is possible later this week before conditions become unfavorable for development over the weekend.
