An Army Specialist stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina has been arrested on child pornography charges out of Polk County.

Nathan Scott Gray, 31, is accused of downloading child pornography at a residence on Fairlane Drive in Lakeland while visiting family earlier this year, officials said.
Detectives began the investigation in February and served a search warrant, seizing Gray's computer equipment. Detectives found ten images/videos depicting child porn, including images of children as young as three years old being sexually battered by adults. Officials said Gray downloaded and made the files available to the public.
"This is disturbing. A man who is active in the military, in a position of public trust, has a secret life behind a computer. The possession and sharing of child pornography victimizes children and families. We will not tolerate it in Polk County. Our detectives did an outstanding job investigating and following leads to Scott Gray and he will be held accountable," -- Sheriff Grady Judd.
Gray is a soldier at Fort Bragg, assigned to the 8th Military Information Support Group (Airborne) as a Unit Supply Specialist.
He was arrested Wednesday, June 28th, on charges of 10 counts of child pornography on an outstanding Polk County warrant and is being held at the Cumberland County jail.
Gray will be extradited to the Polk County jail at a later date.
