Here's the weather forecast for Tuesday evening and the rest of the workweek:

  • More rain in the forecast Wednesday
  • Temperatures will be below average
  • Highs around the mid 80s

As expected, we had a great round of beneficial rains across the entire region.

Although rainfall amounts varied, every location at least saw some rain. This pattern continues to be great so we move away from our drought conditions.

There will be a lull in the activity overnight, but expect showers and storms to start coming in from the Gulf of Mexico again Wednesday morning.

Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Wednesday will feature another slug of moisture streaming in from the Gulf of Mexico, so expect another high cover type of day. That doesn't mean it will rain all day, but almost all locations will end up with measureable rain by the end of the day.

There will also be mostly cloudy skies again, leading to temperatures being held below average for the fifth straight day. Expect highs only in the mid 80s.

Winds will be breezy from the west, so be aware of the risk of rip current at the beach. There will again be a lull in the rain activity for a time Wednesday night with partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid to upper 70s.

Then the front will approach on Thursday with one last slug of moisture streaming through the area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

Beyond that, drier air moves in for a brief time, but then the pattern reverses this weekend.
