Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man on June 7 for exposing his genitalia to a 13-year-old girl, according to an official release.
- Jair Salas-Buitrago, 34, charged with felony Lewd and Lascivious Behavior
- Detectives tracked Salas-Buitrago after victim's mother informed the Sheriff's Office
- Salas-Buitragro admitted to masturbating in front of the victim
Officials said on June 6 at around 1:30 p.m., the victim was walking in the parking lot of the Valencia at Westchase Apartment complex when she saw the suspect, Jair Salas-Buitrago, 34, standing in the parking lot with his pants and underwear on the ground, exposing his genitals.
The victim went home and told her mother, who then informed the Sheriff's Office.
Detectives then tracked down Salas-Buitrago, who admitted to masturbating in front of the victim. He was arrested and charged with a single count of felony Lewd and Lascivious Behavior.
At this time, the Sheriff's Office is not aware of any other victims. However, detectives do ask that anyone with information about any other unreported similar activity contact the Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
