A new multi-year agreement has been reached, ending the stalemate between the two during contract negotiations that left UHC members out-of-network at the hospital.
United officials had previously said the hospital was asking for too much compensation on hospital rates.
The hospital said the rates were in line with what other health insurance providers pay.
The deal is expected to take affect July 1, according to All Children's Hospital President Dr. Jonathan Ellen. However, some United members will be able to pay in-network rates immediately.
The impasse was threatening to impact thousands of patients across the Bay area.
