The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deputy-involved shooting at a residence in the Crystal Springs area of Zephyrhills.
Officials said units responded to a home on the 38000 block of Higginson Road in reference to a domestic disturbance at 7:47 p.m. Once there, deputies saw a man flee to a trailer behind the house.
While inside the trailer, the subject declared that he had a knife and threatened to commit suicide. When deputies entered the trailer, the subject charged at them, which lead to them shooting him.
The subject was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
