A 25-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Tampa.

Police said Antonio Castillo, 25, was killed when he struck a van that traveled into his path. 

The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at W. Hillsborough Avenue and N. MacDill Avenue. 

Police said the driver of a Ford Econoline van was traveling south on MacDill Ave. and failed to yield the right-of-way to a motorcyclist traveling east on W. Hillsborough Ave. 

The motorcycle struck the van, causing life-threatening injuries to Castillo. He was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital where he passed away. 

Officials said the driver of the van showed no signs of impairment and is cooperating with officials. 

The crash remains under investigation.
