A boat blocked an entrance ramp on Interstate 4 Saturday after a crash, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The incident happened before 7 p.m. near the weigh station at mile marker 12.

Thinh Le, 53, of Orlando, was towing the boat on the back of his Chevy Tahoe when the boat began to fishtail, troopers said. Le lost control of the vehicle, which left its lane.

According to the FHP report, the boat collided with the back of the Tahoe, causing the vehicle to hit a concrete barrier wall. The impact caused the boat to separate from the hitch and travel over the barrier wall.  The boat came to rest on the entrance ramp to the weigh station.

The entrance ramp was closed for nearly two hours while officials cleared the scene.
