Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Wednesday into Thursday morning, with a look at the end of the work week.

Skies are looking partly cloudy with a few developing isolated showers and storms mainly in Polk County for the rest of the evening.
With the dry mid level air in place, the rain chance remains slightly lower near the coast and Tampa Bay. The rain chance is better inland, with a late day or evening sea breeze collision in Polk County.

Thursday will be partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. There will be a chance for isolated showers in the morning, then heavy showers and storms, mainly inland and east of I-4 for the evening.
High temperatures will be in the low 90s near the coast and the mid 90s inland tomorrow afternoon.
Much better rain chances will return this weekend and early next week as a front approaches our area bringing a ton of moisture.
