A man who went on a dangerous ride down Clearwater Beach and live streamed it on Facebook, says he had no intentions of hurting others—only himself.

Ryan Stiles, 27, was arrested July 20 after police say he drove recklessly across Clearwater Beach under the influence.

In the video, Stiles could be seen running over beach chairs while drinking from a whiskey bottle and ranting on Facebook Live.

Stiles told the Tampa Bay Times that he had no intentions of hurting others, only himself--by either crashing his vehicle or at the hands of police.

Stiles has been charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, fleeing and eluding, hit and run with property damage, felony criminal mischief and threatening a public servant.
