A man was shot at the Cove Apartments in Tampa Friday night after officials said he got into a struggle with the suspect. 

Sean Williams, 20, was shot in the arm and suffered non-life threatening injuries, officials said. 

The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. Friday at the Cove Apartments located at 4003 S. Westshore Boulevard. 

Tampa police were called out to the scene and determined that the defendant, Nicholas Brown, 15, went to Williams apartment and demanded cash and other property from him. 

Police said a struggle ensued and during the struggle Brown fired a pistol at Williams, striking him in the arm. 

Brown fled the scene before police arrived, and after a two-hour search he was found and taken into custody. 

Brown is charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated battery.
