A 26-year-old father has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in the death of his 8-month-old baby.

Eight-month-old Billy Hendrickson died earlier this month after being left in a hot room.

The child's father, William Hendrickson, 26, has been charged in his death.

New released records show a long history of domestic violence between the parents of Billy.

Records also show that at one point, both mother and father were visited three times a week by caseworkers for drug testing.

Reports shows the mother, Elizabeth Rutenbeck, curbed her drug use and was attempting to turn her life around, but William continued to test positive for drugs.

More information was also released on the tension with Hendrickson's parents, whom the couple shared the home with.

In April, a caseworker reported the paternal grandmother's level of aggression was so intense, there was cause for safety concerns.
