A 53-year-old man was killed in a four-car crash Saturday morning in Pinellas Park.

The crash happened at about 7 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 19 and 70th Avenue North in Pinellas Park.

Jasmin Gonzalez Jimenez, 22, was traveling north on U.S. 19, when she ran a red light, according to police. Her Hyundai Tucson struck a Ford Explorer driven by Timothy Fitch,which was traveling through the intersection with a green light, police said.

The collision caused the Explorer to roll over, striking two other vehicles.

Fitch was ejected from the open driver-side window. He was taken to Bayfront Hospital, where he later died.

Fitch's 20-year-old daughter Kelly Fitch was also inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. She suffered minor injuries.  

The drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured.

Jimenez was also taken to Bayfront Hospital with a broken wrist.

No criminal charges are pending, according to authorities. However, a citation is pending once the investigation is complete, police said.
