The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide early Saturday morning.

Officials said around 2:30 a.m., a motorist flagged down a deputy after discovering a body in the roadway on Embassy Boulevard, east of Regency Park.

The deputy performed CPR on the victim, identified as Thomas Blow, 36, until fire rescue arrived and pronounced Blow dead.

Deputies initially thought it was a hit and run, but trauma to the upper body makes investigators believe it is a homicide.

Deputies said the suspect, identified as Brendan Sigismondi, 32, was arrested Saturday night.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call 1-800-706-2488.
