A severe line of thunderstorms moved through Manatee County Saturday night, resulting in significant flooding of numerous roads. 

At 9:20 p.m. a tornado passed through the Samoset area, traveling from 2600 1st Street to 3000 15th Street East. 

The tornado caused damaged to a number of trees and structures. 

Manatee County Eastside Fleet Maintenance was also affected, resulting in damage to rooftops of maintenance buildings and offices, as well as vehicles. 

So far, no injuries have been reported. 

FPL and Manatee County Public Works are currently working on clean-up and restoring power to those affected. 

The Sarasota-Bradenton area set a record rainfall Saturday at 8.12 inches, which breaks the old record of 3.84 set in 1981.
