A 40-year-old man was killed in motorcycle crash Wednesday evening. 

  • Jean Andre, 40, ran red light, crashed into 2 vehicles
  • Andre died at scene; no other injuries
  • Marijuana, alcohol found in Andre's backpack

The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. at Ehrlich Road and Farmington Boulevard. 

Jean Andre, 40, of Lutz, was killed after he ran a red light and crashed into two vehicles. 

Witnesses said Andre was speeding and swerving in and out of traffic on Ehrlich Rd. before he ran the red light at Farmington Blvd.  

Deputies said Andre struck the front of a Nissan Xterra, driven by Jessica Marketta, 37, and then the right rear passenger side of an Audi Sedan, driven by Raul Boucourt, 54. 

Andre was thrown from the motorcycle and died on scene, deputies said. None of the other drivers or occupants were injured. 

Deputies said they found marijuana and alcohol in Andre's backpack. 

No charges are expected in this case as the investigation continues.
