Winn-Dixie stores are lending a hand to storm-weary Tampa Bay.

Tractor trailers containing more than 1,500 cases of SE Grocers bottled water or 40,000 pounds of ice will be parked in select Winn-Dixie parking lots throughout the Tampa Bay area to assist those in need, while supplies last.

“Winn-Dixie is proud to be part of the Tampa Bay community and the continued Hurricane Irma relief efforts as we join our neighbors in the recovery process from the affects of this devastating storm,” said Anthony Hucker, President and CEO of Southeastern Grocers. “We know water and ice are essential items for many in our community during this difficult time of recovery. We will continue to work hand-in-hand with our vendor partners and community organizations to ensure we are supporting our customers as we all rebuild and recover together.”
