Tampa Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man dead.

Police said O'Shay Lindsey Vondel Lewis and David Williams Jr. were traveling south on Armenia Avenue near Alva Street in a 2006 Nissan Altima on Sunday when, shortly after 3 a.m., police said unidentified people drove up alongside the victims' vehicle and fired multiple shots into the driver's side.
Lewis, 23, who was driving, was killed. Williams Jr., 24, the rear seat passenger, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect or suspects and determine what led up to the fatal shooting.
