Two people suspected of being involved in a rash of armed robberies in Manatee County were arrested Saturday, according to Sheriff’s Office.

Antwan Williams, 33, and Tronesh Sparkels Ackerman, 24, were charged with armed robbery.
The incident happened at about 1:45 a.m. at a Wendy’s drive-through window located on Manatee Avenue in Bradenton.
Following a series of armed robberies in the area, The Sheriff’s Office and the Bradenton Police Department were watching Williams Saturday morning.
Law enforcement officials saw Williams approach the restaurant and rob a person at the drive-through window, the news release said.
Williams fled the scene as officers moved in, the Sheriff’s Office said. After a brief foot pursuit, he was taken into custody.
Ackerman, who is also a suspect in the series of robberies, was found in a nearby vehicle. She was taken into custody.
Additional charges against Williams and Ackerman are pending, the Sheriff’s Office said.
