Brianna Dee Knox, 28, of Beverly Hills, was taken into custody after the incident Tuesday.

Troopers say Knox crashed into vehicles on Interstate 4 about a mile from County Road 579.

Knox's vehicle became disabled under the County Road 579 overpass and troopers said she exited the car and was acting "erratically and disturbed," including urinating on the shoulder of the road.

Troopers who arrived at the scene said she was letting her 2-year-old son wander toward traffic.

Knox was eventually handcuffed and arrested, but not before fighting with both troopers, according to FHP.

She was taken to Orient Road Jail and charged with child endangerment, resisting arrest with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, DUI and leaving the scene of a crash.

The Florida Department of Children and Families was notified and a Hillsborough County child protection officer took custody of the child.
