Here's your Tampa area forecast for late Monday into Tuesday morning, along with a quick look at conditions through the week.

Showers will continue drifting through the region into the morning rush hour. Skies will be cloudy and temperatures will hold steady in the 60s for morning lows.

The showers will slowly move out of the area, with most of the rain gone by the afternoon. The clouds will linger into the afternoon, with some peeks of sun later in the day.

High temperatures will not be as warm as Monday, but still seasonable, topping out around 71.

A cold front will come through the area, which will clear the rain out and bring in slightly cooler air for Wednesday. Expect lows back down in the 40s and 50s for Wednesday morning  and highs in the 60s that afternoon.

Skies will be partly sunny for Wednesday.

Wednesday night will be seasonably cool with lows in the 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Thursday and Friday will both feature partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the upper 60s Thursday and low 70s Friday.

The next cold front will bring us a good chance of rain Sunday.
