Pinellas Park Police is investigating a crash that claimed the life of a bicyclist Monday evening.
- Bicyclist identified as Sean J. Bollar, 79
- Crash took place in 8000 block of U.S. 19
- Northbound U.S. 19 at 8000 block closed
Investigators said the crash took place in the 8000 block of U.S 19 N. around 8:30 p.m.
The bicyclist, identified on Jan. 23 as Sean J. Bollar, 79, was traveling north on U.S. 19 N when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The northbound lanes of U.S. 19 N. were shut down for the investigation. All lanes of southbound U.S. 19 N remained open.
