Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Thursday into Friday morning, including a list of area affected by freeze warnings overnight.

The coldest air we’ve seen this season so far is upon us. Freezing temperatures will be felt almost everywhere except along the immediate coast.

Morning lows will range from the mid 20s north, to the upper 20s inland, to the low to mid 30s closer to the Bay and coast.

Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly clear.

A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect overnight for Citrus County, Hernando County and inland Pasco County. Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s.

A Freeze Warning is in effect overnight for inland Hillsborough, inland Manatee, coastal Pasco, Polk counties. Low temperatures will be in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Damage is likely to cold sensitive plants. Cover plants and bring pets inside again tonight.

High pressure builds in with mostly sunny and chilly weather again on Friday.

Friday will be another chilly day, with highs only in the 50s. That’s about 15 to 20 degrees below our average temperature.

The good news is we’ll have lots of sunshine again.

Friday night will be mostly clear and cold with lows in the 30s and 20s.

Saturday will start the weekend on a nice note, with mostly sunny skies and highs slightly milder, getting back to about 60.

Saturday night will be mostly clear and chilly, but not as cold, with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Sunday will wrap up the weekend on a milder note, with highs into the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies.

Next week will be warmer, but there likely will be a rain chance Tuesday.
