Tampa Police are investigating the death of a man and said foul play is suspected.

A body was found just after 3 p.m. Friday at the Courtyard on the River Apartments on Sonora Court.

Police aren't sure how long the victim, identified as Abdirashid Ali, 50, had been deceased.

Detectives are describing the cause of death as "homicidal violence."
