We did not reach a record high today in Tampa.

Tampa got to 84 degrees, the record is 85, set in 2001.

Skies will be mostly clear overnight.

Morning lows will be in the low 60s north to upper 60s for Tampa.  There will be some early morning fog that will burn off after sunrise Sunday morning.

Sunday will wrap up the weekend very similar to today with partly cloudy skies and a 10 percent chance of a late day small shower. Showers will tend to shift more inland than today.

Highs will be in the low to mid 80s, with 70s and the beach.

Since the sea breeze will be stronger, there will be a bigger difference in the afternoons to evenings if you are at the beach. It will cool down quite a bit due to the water temperature being in the low to mid 70s.

A big pattern change is coming for the end of next week as another cold front returns to Florida.
