Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Thursday into Friday morning, with a look at conditions through the weekend.

It will be another chilly morning across the region for Friday. There will likely still be a little bit of patchy frost in the typically colder spots of eastern Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco counties where lows will bottom out in the low to mid 30s.

Most inland areas will bottom out in the upper 30s to mid 40s.

Skies will remain mainly clear through the morning.

Friday will be a gorgeous day once we get past the cold start. High temperatures will finally be warmer, getting into the low to mid 70s, especially inland away from the coast.

Skies will be mostly sunny and winds will be the lightest they have been all week.

Friday night will be cool but not as cold as recent nights, with lows in the 40s to low 50s.

Saturday will continue the warmup, with highs in the mid 70s for coastal regions and upper 70s inland. Skies will go from mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the 50s.

Sunday will be the warmest day we’ve seen in a long time, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s under a mix of sun and clouds.

A cold front will move toward our area next week, with the best chance of showers now appearing to be in the Tuesday to Wednesday time frame and then cooler after that.
