Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Friday into Saturday morning, along with a look at weekend conditions and a preview of next week.

After a very cool week we’re finally going to see a warming trend this weekend.

Lows will still be cool, but not nearly as cold as the past few mornings. It will bottom out in the 40s for many inland areas, while coastal locations stop in the 50s.

Skies will remain mostly clear with just some high thin clouds passing from time to time.

Saturday will start cool, but end up warmer in the afternoon with highs finally reach the mid 70s. It will be slightly cooler at the beach in the low 70s and slightly warmer inland, near 80.

Skies will be mostly sunny and winds will be light, making for perfect weather for outdoor activities.

Saturday night will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with lows in the 50s to low 60s.

Sunday will be the warmest day we’ve seen in a long time, with highs in the mid 70s at the coast, upper 70s for most of the area, and low 80s farthest inland. Skies will feature a mix of sun and clouds with light winds.

Monday will still feature warm temperatures, with highs around 80, but there will be more clouds around and the humidity will be slightly higher. There will be a small chance of an isolated shower, but the better chance of showers will hold off until Tuesday when the next cold front nears.

There will likely be a line of showers that moves through late Tuesday, with some lingering showers possible into early Wednesday.

Then the next shot of cooler, drier air will start moving in. Early indications are it will be another impressive shot of cool air with some chilly temperatures at that time.
