Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Thursday into Friday morning, with a look at conditions though mid week next week.

  • Staying breezy
  • Showers return Friday
  • A little cooler Saturday

Overnight will be partly cloudy. Some fog could form late.

Low temperatures will be near 60 degrees in northern counties to the mid to upper 60s in Tampa Bay.

Friday will start off dry. Scattered showers and storms will move toward the area from the northwest in the afternoon.

The storms will weaken and the showers will become less numerous as they approach our coast, so there will be some showers by Friday afternoon and Friday night as a front moves into the area. The front will slow down Friday night.

There will be some lingering showers Saturday morning as the front drifts south, but it won’t be much cooler. The front will stall or fall apart just to our south.

Saturday afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80.

Easter Sunday will feature morning temperatures in the upper 50s to mid 60 and afternoon highs in the 80s. Winds will be light allowing for a sea breeze, and it will be partly sunny. There is a chance of a few showers in the afternoon, mainly inland.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s Monday through Wednesday under partly sunny skies.
