Police said a man opened fire inside a Seminole County beauty salon Thursday morning, killing three women and wounding a fourth before leaving the scene and shooting himself at a nearby home.

According to Casselberry police, the gunman entered Las Dominicanas M & M Salon, in a shopping plaza along Semoran Boulevard, north of Aloma Avenue, shortly after 11 a.m.

The gunman, later identified as Bradford Ramon Baumet, shot two employees and two customers inside the salon, according to Casselberry police spokeswoman Sara Brady.

Police have identified the victims as:

  • Noelia Gonzalez-Brito, an employee at the salon
  • Gladys Cabrera, a customer from Orlando

Baumet's ex-girlfriend is Marcia Santiago. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The name of the fourth person who was killed has not been released.

Two other women escaped the salon unharmed, Brady said.

Baumet then drove to a friend's home on Paradise Lane, about 5 miles away in Winter Park.

Seminole County Sheriff's deputies said he told friends "I have problems I cannot remedy," before shooting himself inside the home. Baumet was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say Baumet did not threaten the three people inside the home. Only two of them knew him. They also say they're not sure why he chose to come there, but it was clear he went there to kill himself.

One witness, who asked not to be identified, said Baumet was her cousin, and may have had mental problems.

"He's been having problems. He's mentally, like, not there," she said. "We've been telling them to keep away from him, get a restraining order. She's, like, I don't know what to do."

Police said this shooting may have been a domestic-related issue.

"He wanted to be with her, but we said, that relationship is not good," the family member said.

Police say Baumet was served with a domestic violence injunction Oct. 9, and was scheduled to be in Orange County court Thursday.

Baumet has a criminal record that includes domestic assault, felony assault, stalking, burglary and drug possession -- not only in Florida, but also in Rhode Island.
