A warming trend begins as highs warm into the middle 70s to start the week.

No frost or a freeze overnight as thin clouds move into the region and keep temps milder.  Lows fell into the middle 40s in most spots overnight.

We’ll see close to normal temperatures this afternoon with highs in the low to middle 70s under a mix of sun and clouds.  Rain chances remain low.

Along the coast, a moderate rip current risk exists. Swimmers should only go in the water near a lifeguard.

Christmas day looks partly cloudy with temperatures around 77 degrees. Rain will try to slide back in and help to reduce the fire threat as we move into Wednesday as another frontal boundary moves through.  Behind this front expect a slight cool down with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.  Another shot of rain by moves into the area Saturday.
