A seat on the City Council has been filled after a run-off election.
Joe Kilsheimer beat out Linda Laurendeau in a 52–48 percent vote Tuesday in Apopka. He will fill Seat 3 on the council when he takes office April 24.
The run-off election was held after March's vote was deemed too close to call.
Laurendau was ahead of Kilsheimer by just two votes last month in a four-way race.
