The International Space Station is getting a new addition.

NASA has signed a deal to get quite a unique, new module.

Bigelow Aerospace hopes to one day build the first private space station. Until then, they’ve got some ideas for the ISS, which includes an inflatable module.

NASA recently signed a $17.8 million contract with Bigelow. The space agency hopes the Bigelow Expandable Activity Module will help them understand how humans can stay in space for long periods of time.

More details are expected to be released at a news conference Wednesday.
